Dear Atty. Pimentel,
Hi! I'm Shery, the editor of WIRED! Philippines. Thank you very much for agreeing to be featured in my e-zine's Promi-Netizen. Commissioner Mitra was kind enough to suggest you as one of the possible featured well-known Filipinos on the Internet.
Here're my questions:
How long have you been on the Internet? What caused you to get on the Internet?
I DON'T REMEMBER THE EXACT TIME BUT I THINK I GOT WIRED IN 1996.
When you get online, what do you mostly like to do?

CNN, FIDE'S CHESS WEBPAGE, AMAZON.COM, OTHER ONLINE MAGAZINES AND PERIODICALS
Do you chat?
TRIED IT BUT I FIND IT TOO TIME-CONSUMING AND DIRECTIONLESS.

Are you the type of person who spends long hours on the net?

As a politician, in what ways does the Internet a benefit/advantage to you?
THRU THE INTERNET I HAVE ACCESS TO THE PRESENT DEGREE OR LEVEL OF HUMAN KNOWLEDGE. THEREFORE RESEARCHING NOWADAYS HAS BEEN MADE VERY INTERESTING, TO SAY THE LEAST, BY THE INTERNET.
I CAN ALSO COMMUNICATE INSTANTANEOUSLY WITH FAMILY, FRIENDS, SUPPORTERS, ALLIES, AND LIKE-MINDED INDIVIDUALS VIA THE INTERNET.
What power do you see in the Internet?
THE INTERNET CAN BE USED AS A MEDIUM TO ESPOUSE POLITICAL POSITIONS. IT CAN ALSO BE USED TO SOLICIT MEMBERSHIP AND OTHER KINDS OF SUPPORT (FINANCIAL OR OTHERWISE).
Have you got a personal web site?
Could you please give me a little background about yourself? Family, kids, profession, accomplishments, etc.
I AM A 34-YEAR OLD SINGLE PRACTICING LAWYER BORN IN CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY. MY FATHER IS AN INCUMBENT SENATOR OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES.
I HAVE BEEN EDUCATED BY THE JESUITS AT THE ATENEO DE MANILA (ELEMENTARY TO COLLEGE). I AM A CATHOLIC.
