SCHOOL UPDATES:

Former SJE Achieves Independence

Former San Pablo City National High School- San Jose Extension, after having completed all the necessary certification , authorization, and accreditation, was approved to take its new name San Jose National High School in order to provide easy access for students in its barangay and to address the influx of enrolees in San Pablo City National High School, Sept 5.

On Motion of Hon. Eleanor T. Reyes, duly seconded by Hon. Alejandro Y. Yu, Hon. Pablo Jose Cristobal C. Lopez, Hon. Arsenio A. Escudero Jr. and Hon. Angelo L. Adriano, Reslution No. 2007-342 was adopted. The said Resolution attests to the establishment of San Jose National High School.

The establishment of a public high school in San Jose responds to the needs of the poor students in the City of San Pablo. San Jose National High School caters to the enrolees from Barangay San Jose and it’s neighboring barangays, namely: Sto. Cristo, San Francisco, San Gregorio, Alvarez, Dapdapan, C. Brion and Concepcion.

“Teachers and students’ population has tremendously increased for the past four years, thus, quality education would not be easily attainable with the supervision of only one principal for the Main and it’s annexes,” Hon. Vicente B. Amante, city mayor, mentioned in his petition to Dr. George R. Garma, Director IV of Region IV-A.
