History

    Grace and Truth Elementary School was established in 1986 by Mr. Gary and Mrs. Leila Knox. It started as an experimental learning center with only 9 pupils. Mrs. Knox was ably assisted by Mrs. Remedios Lescano known to many as “ Na Edios”
    A small but well designed building was built by Gary Knox. His engineering skills proved to be very useful in this project. The first classroom was completed with a small library, storage , mini-kitchen, and small bedroom. Outside there was a small playground - complete with play equipment . On fencing wall was painted the picture of Noah’s Ark and the animals boarding it before the prophesied flood. The painting was , and is, both lovely and attractive to the young and the old. It still serves as a welcome sight to whosoever visits the school.
    The following year the experimental learning center expanded into a preschool. From then on, enrolment greatly increased, requiring the construction of more classrooms. In 1994 , GTS sends off first batch of elementary graduates , the mission remains the same. 1997 High school building was established with 80 students enrolled. 2001 was the first batch of high school graduates. The school has 20 classrooms three laboratory rooms which include the Home Economics, Science and Computer rooms.
    In addition there is a multi-purpose room (AVR) and a gymnasium (where different programs are held ) Committed to provide an excellent education to its students Grace and Truth School celebrated its 21st Founding Anniversary last September 2007.
