        As Girl Scouts learn to shed the fancy trappings and wrappings of civilization, they discover the beauty and goodness of every person. Thus they build friendship with others - closer ties are forged with fellow Girl Scouts and the friendship extends throughout the world.

        Girl Scouts communicate far and wide and deeply with each other. They use radios, letters and publications to touch the lives of others.

        They travel in person or vicariously and thus get to know and understand various cultures and traditions.

        Bonds of unity are forged between differing cultures and the Girl Scout ends up as a global citizen.
