The Girl Scout of the Philippines Program
Badgework
The Girl Scout Program is carried out in the process called Badgework. Badgework is the process of living the Girl Scout Promise and Law through personally chosen and planned self-developmental activities as prescribed in the Girl Scout Handbooks. A cloth badge is earned and worn by the girl to show her preparedness for service after completing the prescribed activities and living by the Girl Scout Promise and Law.
Membership requirements qualify girls for the World Badge. The other Program activities are grouped into the 8 - Point Challenge.
