PROGRAM

Program is the whole environment in which Girl Scouting takes place and is the vehicle by which the educational aims are met.

Program is made up of the unit structure, the activities, the ways of work and the relationship of fun, friendship and caring, called the Scouting Spirit.

The Girl Scout program is adapted to the development needs of girls and young women. Girls may enter at any of the age levels in Girl Scouting.

Twinklers	have mostly exploratory and discovery activities
Stars	go on to interest-enhancing activities
Juniors	focus their energies on skills development
Seniors	render service to the community, local and global
Cadets	undergo leadership-strengthening activities, explore career choices and undertake community development.

Girls with disabilities are also accepted in the Movement as members of regular troops. Adaptations in uniform and activities are made to suit their disabilities and capabilities.

The Girl Scout activities are classified under the 8 - POINT CHALLENGE.
