        The EIGHT-POINT CHALLENGE is the program of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines which embodies meaningful, responsive, relevant, contemporary and time-tested activities that would adequately prepare the Filipino girl and young woman of today to face and cope with the changing times.

       The Challenge of Economic Self-Sufficiency - provides practical and meaningful activities that would instill proper values like discipline, resourcefulness, teamwork, decision-making, leadership and followership, self-denial for the common good and thrift.
