"The Coconut surely lives by its name as it continues to prove its important uses, not only in households but also in the medical and entrepreneurial world. Here in the country, half of the coconut palm has been put unto waste not knowing that it can do more than being a trash."

Simply amazing! - that’s one way to describe the coconuts which bring forth the answers to our needs. No one knows exactly where it originated but regardless of that is known worldwide. The tree that bears those fruits which look like a giant rugby ball can be found in the tropics. Still among all the coconut varieties in the world, the Philippine variety of coconut is simply the best. It has tall, graceful trunks, around 24 to 34 feet high, topped by a crown of light feathery leaves that are about 14-17 feet long. It usually takes a year or so for a coconut to mature. It was said that Marco Polo was the first person who has described a coconut tree.
