GREGORIA MONTOYO

Standing on a trench, she held a long bolo in one hand and the Katipunan flag in the other while leading some 30 rebels in the Battle of Calero Bridge in Dalahican, Cavite. Her body was torn to bits when she was hit by an artillery shell that was fired from a Spanish gunboat.

SIMON OLA

He joined the Katipunan in 1896 and became one of the revolutionary leaders of Bicol.

He also fought during the Filipino-American War and did not surrender until September 5, 1903 two years after the capture of Emilio Aguinaldo.
