AMBROSIO RIANZARES BAUTISTA
He helped publish the La Solidaridad, the organ of the Propaganda Movement. He was arrested and jailed at the outbreak of the Revolution.
He authored and read the Declaration of Philippine Independence at Kawit, Cavite on June 12, 1898.
He also served as Solicitor-General of the revolutionary government.
He contributed articles to the nationalist newspaper, La Independencia

VITO L. BELARMINO
In 1896, together with Pio del Pilar, he led a successful attack on the Spanish army in Talisay Batangas.
In October 1898, Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo placed him in command of the province of Albay. There, he established a republican government.
